Dr. Nan Zhang is an IT Researcher at the Computer Science Department, University of Stavanger, Norway, with a focus on digital solutions for subsurface challenges in the energy sector. She holds a Ph.D. and MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. Her expertise encompasses the integration of reservoir engineering with advanced digital technologies for enhanced industry applications. Dr. Zhang is recognized for her contributions to pivotal projects like the PETROMAKS2 Automated Well Monitoring and Control, and the National Centre for Sustainable Subsurface Utilization of the Norwegian Shelf (NCS2030) Federated Knowledge Cloud.
