PROFRES webinar 23 May 2023 13.00-15.00
Doing doctoral work involves reading and writing in abundance. However, it can sometimes be generative to work in other modalities than words in prose.
This online session will provide participants with exemplars and good advice for visualizing their doctoral work. Whether you are in the initial phase of describing your overall project design and idea, emerged in analyzing data, or are in a process of writing for an audience (a conference presentation, an article, or a dissertation chapter), you can try out ways of illustrating it. It can be a flow chart, stick figures, or SmartArt graphic in Word. It can be done to assist your own thinking, or it can be for communicative purposes. You will get the opportunity to try it out and involve in dialogue about how you can integrate visual material into your work processes and in your final products.
Time and place: 23 May 2023 13.00-15.00, on Zoom
