Releasing the Power of the User: Meeting the Inclusion Challenge in Innovation, explores responsible innovation, illustrating how user inclusion can drive solutions that are not only innovative but also inclusive and sustainable. 

 
Featuring case studies from seven countries Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the UK, Ukraine, and the USA – it delves into the challenges and successes of user involvement in healthcare innovation. 

Key highlights include:

What to Expect at the Launch 

The event will feature engaging discussions from the editors and authors of the book: 

  • Welcome and Opening Remarks by Professor Tatiana Iakovleva, editor and author, Stavanger Business School. 
  • Keynote Address: Exploring the concept of boundary innovation spaces and the pivotal shift toward user-centered innovation by Professor John Bessant, editor and author, Exeter University, UK. 
  • Historical and Philosophical Evolution of Healthcare Innovation by Professor Elin Oftedal, editor and author, Faculty of Social Sciences. 
  • The Role of Public Authorities in Inclusive Innovation Across Northern Europe by Associate Professor Thomas Laudal, author, Stavanger Business School.
