What happens after you are admitted to an ECIU course at UiS?

Enrolment
The ECIU team registers all ECIU University students in the UiS student database before the course starts.
Once you have been enroled, you will receive an automatic email from our IT department with instructions on how to activate your UiS student ID. This email is sent to your ECIU email account, so make sure to check both your inbox and your spam folder regularly.
Accommodation
Unfortunately, UiS does not have student housing available for short-term stays, and you will therefore have to find alternative accommodation.
The closest accommodation is Ydalir hotel, situated right on our campus. But there are also many hotels in Stavanger and the surrounding area and public transportation available.
If you would like to rent private accommodation, please check the national housing platforms Finn.no or hybel.no.
There is also affordable accommodation available at Mosvangen Camping, which is located next to a lake a short bus ride or 30 min walking from campus.
UiS Campus is located 4 km from the city centre, and it's easiest to get around using bus or bike.
Erasmus+ documents
If you are receiving a travel grant through Erasmus+, please follow the instructions for how to get your Erasmus+ documents signed.
Useful links
Please make sure to familiarise yourself with the services from the IT department, the university library, and the campus facilities provided by the Student Welfare Organisation (SiS).
Remember that you can always contact the ECIU-team if you have any questions about attending UiS as an ECIU-student.
