Parts of Kjølv Egeland's house at the west entrance will be closed to traffic on Thursday morning in connection with a planned police operation.

The police's bomb squad has been called in to retrieve chemicals from a laboratory. There is no risk of explosion, but the chemicals can start to burn if they are exposed to blows or shakes. Therefore, they will now be removed and destroyed in a safe manner.
For practical reasons, the police will arrive from Oslo in a helicopter, which will land on the east side of campus.
Barrier tape will be set up and there will be guards in the relevant area at KE-hus' entrance west. We ask all staff and students to find alternative routes.
Normal traffic will be resumed as soon as the operation is over.
