Navigating Practice-Near Research in One’s Own Field: Opportunities and Challenges

Høgskolen i Molde

Conducting research within one's own field presents ethical, methodological, and practical opportunities and challenges. At this PROFRES research school symposium, we aim to achieve a broader, deeper, and more reflective understanding of opportunities and challenges of practice-near research. We will do this through knowledge exchange where we explore the various dimensions of the researcher role, the boundary drawing towards the professional role, research ethics and possible consequences and implications for knowledge production.

We warmly invite the PROFRES candidates to participate in this knowledge exchange through group work, presentations in parallel sessions and plenary discussions.
