About me

Jon-Sander is a PhD candidate at the University of Stavanger's School of Business and Law, Department of Economics and Finance. His research primarily focuses on leadership behaviors and their impact on employees and organizational outcomes. In 2024, as part of his PhD, he spent three months as a visiting scholar at the National Student Support Accelerator (NSSA) at Stanford University, sponsored by Professor Susanna Loeb. 

Jon-Sander is affiliated with Synapse Lab, a cross-disciplinarian laboratory for research on learning and motivation at UiS. He is also associated with the project "Experimental Field Investigation of Leadership Practices Supportive of Work-Satisfaction, Engagement, Performance and Creativity".

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School, Bergen, and a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Stavanger, School of Business and Law.
