During UiS Green Week , student groups work to find concrete solutions to the challenge: How can students get involved in making the campus more sustainable? Their solutions are presented "live" at the University Library!
The event is organized by ECIU University, our European university. For three days, students from UiS and the University of Trento, Italy, will work in groups to come up with new solutions for a more environmentally friendly UiS campus.
Along the way, the students receive training in the challenge-based learning methodology, and they are coached by so-called "teamchers" from UiS. Come hear what they have found out!
On stage in the University Library, there will first be a short panel discussion on how UiS works with challenge-based learning, through ECIU University and in close collaboration with external partners.
On the podium:
- Trym N. Holbek, Project Manager, ECIU University
- Jonas Molde Hollund, from the student organisation StOr.
- Tim Marshall, "teamcher assistant" and former ECIU student
The student teams then come in and present the solutions they have worked on. There will be opportunities to ask questions and meet staff at UiS who work with ECIU University.
Students, academic staff and those in working life are invited: Come and hear what ECIU University can do for you!
The event will be chaired by Leiv Gunnar Lie at the Department for Communication and Public Affairs.
