Here you can find the university library's opening hours for Christmas 2024.
Library at Ullandhaug
The main library at Ullandhaug is open 24/7 for students and staff.
Staffed hours:
- Monday, 23.12: 10–2.
- Tuesday, 24.12 – Thursday, 26.12: Unstaffed.
- Friday, 27.12: 10–2.
- Saturday, 28.12: Unstaffed.
- Monday, 30.12: 10-2.
- Tuesday, 31.12 – Wednesday, 1.1: Unstaffed.
- Thursday, 2.1 – Friday, 3.1: 10–2.
- Saturday, 4.1: 9-12.
- Regular opening hours resume on January 6, 2025.
Library at the Archaeological Museum
Closed from December 23 to January 1.
Library at Bjergsted
Unstaffed from December 23 to January 1. Open for students and staff with a Bjergsted campus keycard from 7 AM to 11 PM every day.
Libraries at SUS
- South Building: Unstaffed from December 23 to January 1. Open to staff with a SUS ID card and code.
- F Building: Closed from December 23 to January 1.
Ullandhaug: Main Library
The library is open to students and staff 24/7. The building and the library are open to everyone between 07:30 and 18:00 every day. Kjølv Egeland's building (KE) is open (no access control) from 09:00 to 15:00 on Saturdays. Use UiS ID to enter KE-house before 7.30 am and after 6 pm. Access for non-UiS students.

Bjergsted: The Library of Music and Dance
Open to students and staff with a keycard from Bjergsted from 7 am – 11 pm everyday.

The Library at the Museum of Archaeology
Staffed hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 15:00.
The museum opens at 11. Call 51 83 26 10 if you want to visit the library before this, and we will open the door for you.
The library is open for staff at the museum every day from 6:15 to 22:00. You can borrow books from our lending machine.

Students and staff with UiS-id:
Saturday and Sunday: 11 am to 4 pm.
For museum staff, the library is open every day from 6.15 am to 10 pm.
