About the position

As Telecom-graduate you will be part of an inclusive and enthusiastic team that is responsible for safe and efficient operation of telecoms- and ot-systems on our offshore installations and in the central infrastructure. In this role you will work together with engineers that specialize within the telecommunication domain and be involved in both operations, modifications, projects and execution of improvement initiatives.

Requirements to the applicant

Typical work tasks can be:

  • Be a part of AkerBPs Telecom and OT department.
  • Maintain and supervise telecommunication systems on our assets, Alvheim, Ivar Aasen, Edvard Grieg, Ula. Valhall and Skarv.
  • Contribute with improvement work both within the telecom domain and other disciplines.
  • Be a part of the project teams in AkerBPs large development projects, Yggdrasil and PWP-Fenris.

Qualifications:

  • You have recently graduated or will graduate in 2025 with an MSc within, telecommunication, electronics, network, cyber security, digitalization, or similar.
  • You have maximum two years of relevant professional experience.
  • English and/or Norwegian language working proficiency.
