About the position

As a graduate in Digital, you will be part of an inclusive and enthusiastic team, responsible for leading the way in the race to become the first data driven E&P company. You will be part of our Digital Transformation, which is imperative to reach this business goal. We are currently applying modern technologies such as digital twins, AI, machine learning, robotics, and automation, and we want your knowledge and inputs.

Requirements to the applicant

Typical work tasks can be:

  • Being a part of digital transformation and process change in Aker BP: helping the business rethink old operating models, experiment more, and act in a more agile way in response to customers and competitors.
  • Collaborating with alliances and internal business domains in developing data driven solutions including digital twin.
  • Developing Aker BP's modern and high-performance cloud data platforms and contributing to building a robust fundament for Cyber Security, Data Science, Data Engineering and Analytics.
  • Playing an active role in optimizing data delivery through implementing new, and improving existing, data pipelines and integrations.

Qualifications:

  • You have recently graduated or will graduate in 2025 with a master's degree within a relevant discipline, e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Robotics, Cybernetics, Automation, Cyber Security or similar.
  • You have maximum two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Interested in, and knowledge about, technology, automation, processes, information management and change management.
  • English and/or Norwegian language working proficiency.

Aker BP is a company engaged in exploration, field development and production of oil and gas on the Norwegian continental shelf. The company operates six field centres: Alvheim, Ivar Aasen, Skarv, Edvard Grieg, Ula and Valhall, and is a partner in the Johan Sverdrup field.

Our headquarter is in Fornebu, outside of Oslo, and we have offices in Stavanger, Trondheim, Harstad and Sandnessjøen.
