About the position
Job dimensions
TotalEnergies EP Norway has a large and important portfolio of oil & gas assets offshore Norway, which is operated by other companies, from the Snøhvit LNG field in the North, to the Greater Ekofisk Area in the South, providing a production Company Share of around 250 kboe/d (largest present major on Norwegian Continental Shelf), with investments and operating costs Company Share of around 1.5 Billion USD per year. The portfolio is split into 5 Asset Areas, under the supervision of Asset Managers with Technical support from a dedicated department.

Activities
TotalEnergies EP Norway is gathering a lot of drilling & wells data (wells duration & cost, drilling & completion performance, NPT, KPIs, lessons learnt) from the operating companies on all its portfolio. Gathering and analyzing all data is key in order to follow the drilling performance, benchmark and form our own vision on performance improvement.
The summer internship project consists in continuing improving existing Power BI D&W dashboards and excel models.
The candidate will also be considered for other tasks depending on main project delivery, like designing and creating new D&W databases for key Assets, building one-pagers for some new technologies, etc.
Requirements to the applicant
Qualifications/Experience required
This position requires a strong knowledge of Power BI software and Data analytics skills.
Some programming skills (Python, etc.) will be beneficial.
The candidate shall have basic knowledge in drilling & wells, interested in learning E&P business and its technical aspects (subsurface, drilling, facilities) and have effective communication skills with ability to collaborate with other professionals.
What we offer
Position is based in Stavanger at TEPN office in Dusavika.
TotalEnergies E&P Norge AS will provide accommodation for students who do not have a home base in Stavanger.
