Many commercially available asset monitoring solutions have one or multiple limitations with respect to retrofit ability, poor system integrability, operator friendliness or limitations with supported sensing modalities. These factors constitute significant barriers for industry uptake of efficient and reliable asset performance management solutions that can detect and identify incipient faults and quantify the development over time. This talk will summarize a fully automated end-to-end solution that breaks the barrier paving way for cost-efficient and reliable predictive maintenance.

Rune Schlanbusch is chief researcher at NORCE Norwegian Research Center and deputy research director for the DARWIN (Data, AI, Robotics) research group. Rune received his MSc within Space Technology at Høgskolen i Narvik, now part of University of Tromsø (UiT), Norway and PhD within Engineering Cybernetics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway. His research interests include asset management through condition monitoring, structural health monitoring and decision-making processes, control design and stability analysis of unmanned systems, and multi-physics modeling and simulation, conveyed through about 70 research papers.
