Learning outcome
The course is a supplement to other topics, and when the student has completed the course, the following objectives will be achieved:

- Increased insight into selected topics and issues and in working life practical challenges.
Skills:
- Increased ability in professional collaboration, as well as specialization in certain topics and present them in a convincing manner.

- Empowerment in theoretical and creative academic work.

Report
The student must submit a individual, critically reflective report (incl. signed timesheet) on their practical training. This report is presented to students and teachers at an agreed time and place.The student should spend 250 - 300 working hours on the course in total. The student must submit a signed timesheet together with the report.The report is an individual assignment.

Practice
The practical training is compulsory. The student have to submit a certified timesheet in order to get the practical training approved. Practical training has to be approved in order to be able to submit a final report and receive assessment in the course.
There must be a formal contract between the practical training institution, the student and UiS. This must be signed and submitted to the course coordinator by September 1st.
