– I think its very fun to have won the chamber music competition, and to have gotten the opportunity to play along with highly skilled fellow students. It's also very nice to get recognition on what you're working for and that you're doing something good. The chamber music competition is a very fun event that gives the students a possibility to work with each other, says one of the winners in the percussion group, Tomas Björn.

Words from the jury

The jury lists these reasons on why these to ensembles won:

The percussion group showed an impressive precision and excelled with refined sound treatment and convincing interplay. This left a professional impression.

Duo Con Fuoco played fiery and energetic, but also showed exquisitely beautiful cantilene playing. They also contributed with a nice range of genres and jazz/fusion, playfully and with a «twinkle in the eye»
