The University of Stavanger is pleased to invite you to this year's network conference on equality and diversity with the theme "Inclusive Leadership: A Good Work Environment for All."
"A good work environment for all" is the theme of this year's conference
The Network Conferences are organized by the research sector each year, addressing various topics related to equality and diversity. This year, it is UiS’s turn to host the conference, and we have chosen a highly relevant theme for the higher education sector: Inclusive Leadership.
See the program for the 2025 Networking Conference below.
Four important topics
Just as the focus on equality has expanded from solely addressing gender balance to encompassing a broader perspective, the annual equality conferences for the research sector have also evolved.
Four key topics are on the agenda for the conference in May:
International staff and language in academia
LGBTQ+ employees and students
Students and employees with disabilities
Students and employees who are immigrants or descendants of immigrants
Reflects UiS's focus areas
The topics of the conference reflect UiS's focus areas in its efforts to improve inclusion, diversity, and equality within the organization. The Committee for Equality, Inclusion, and Diversity at UiS (the LIM Committee) has chosen to work strategically on these four topics in the coming years, also in the development of a new action plan for LIM.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference in May!
