Tethys Robotics is a spin-off from ETH University in Switzerland, and they have a long research history together. They provide a high-resolution inspection solution with a compact underwater drone, taking the inspection to a new level and performing reliably, safely, and efficiently. Reducing the risks of human labor and helping reduce the environmental impact are high priorities on the agenda. In this talk, they will give a brief overview of the successes, open points, insights, and challenges encountered while using acoustic and visual sensors for mapping in hydro-energy and offshore applications
