In today's rapidly evolving technological landscape, engineering disciplines such as mechanical, civil, marine and maintenance engineering are undergoing significant transformations due to advancements in artificial intelligence (AI). There is a growing need for engineers in these fields to acquire AI skills to remain competitive and relevant in their professions. Prompt engineering is an emerging field in the technology industry that enables engineers to create and improve prompts that guide AI models toward producing desired results, especially, technical results, e.g. design concept generation, product development, engineering analysis, and technical reports. Prompts provide explicit instructions to an AI model, enabling it to produce the desired outputs.

To fulfil this future need, the "PromptUp" project was submitted and luckily funded by HKdir-UTFORSK. In this "lunch and learn" session, a brief summary of the project will be provided and opportunities for industrial collaboration will be highlighted and left open for industry to join us
