COSER er en forskergruppe som holder til ved Universitetet i Oslo, og forkortelsen står for Challenges of sustainability in educational research. COSER består av pedagoger og fagdidaktikere fra naturfag, samfunnsfag, religion og etikk, norsk og flerspråklighet. Gruppen jobber med forskning og formidling som dreier seg om bærekraft i skole og lærerutdanning.
COSER-gruppen består av en rekke forskere fra inn- og utland med variert faglig bakgrunn, og presenterer seg på følgende måte på nettsiden sin:
«COSER – Challenges of Sustainability in Educational Researcher – is an interdisciplinary group of researchers in education and subject didactics who are rooted in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. The goal of COSER is to contribute to research and innovation that can enable schools and teacher education to meet complex societal challenges related to sustainability both today and in the future. Pedagogical and transformative processes in society also fall within the research group’s field of interest.»
