About the study

The one-year program in Drama and Theatre at UiS was an incredible year, both academically, socially, and personally. I gained insight into a wide range of expressive forms within drama and theatre, which provided me with valuable experience for the future. The curiosity and sense of accomplishment I carried with me after this year were crucial for my path forward in the world of theatre.

Career oppurtunities

This one-year program taught me an incredible amount. I grew as an educator, as an artist, and as a fellow human being – it’s a year I would never want to be without! The lecturers are highly engaged with the students, and there is a great balance between practical and theoretical work. It’s incredibly fun to develop theater skills while also working pedagogically and methodically. I highly recommend this program to both teacher students and those who want to enhance their theatrical skills and expertise.

Karoline Enoksen , former Theater and Drama student.
