The University of Stavanger is dedicated to being an open and inclusive institution, prioritizing outstanding education, leading-edge research, and fostering innovation with a steadfast commitment to driving the sustainable transition. Our collective ambition is rooted in the principle of sustainability, guiding us to contribute meaningfully to environmental stewardship and social responsibility.

The InGenious program is uniquely designed to equip students for the challenges and opportunities of the future workforce, emphasizing not just the inclusion of practical and real-life case studies in the curriculum but also a deep engagement with sustainability. It enriches the educational journey by offering workshops and seminars centered on critical themes such as Design Thinking for Sustainability, Sustainable SWOT Analysis, and development of Soft Skills. Furthermore, the program integrates Pitch Techniques, sustainable Business Models, and immersive learning experiences like field trips, guest lectures, and mentorship opportunities from leaders in sustainability and green transition sectors.

Through the InGenious Programme, students develop the essential practical skills and experiences required to excel in their future careers and to respond effectively to the evolving needs of the industry. This approach not only prepares students more thoroughly for the job market but also supplies the industry with a workforce that is both highly skilled and deeply knowledgeable about sustainable practices. By bridging the gap between academic preparation and industry requirements, we ensure that our graduates are not just ready for the job market but are also equipped to lead and support the green transition.
