What do weapons, drugs, tomatoes, and potatoes have in common? They are all potential threats to society. Customs agencies are involved in the prevention of organized crime, tax evasion, plant diseases and many other threats to society.

Yet, their contributions to societal safety are not well-known. Why is this so?  

In this researcher breakfast we will look into how broadly the Norwegian Customs contributes to societal safety, and what their contribution means for the management of pandemics, terrorism, and other crises.
