Voices of Women (VOW) conference program Oct 9th - 11th.

Wednesday 9 October 10:30 - Friday 11 October 21:00,
Bjergsted,
Eikenessalen.

The main purpose of the VOW project is to contribute to common EU values in relation to cultural awareness which, in several areas of the art world, has thus far been skewed in the sense that women’s outputs have not received their fair share of attention, analysis, interpretation, and performance.

Welcome to the “Voices of Women – Unheard Voices” International Conference in Stavanger, Norway!

This is the final conference and training activity of the ERASMUS+ project “Voices of Women (VOW)”. The VOW project was initiated with the aim of promoting, studying, and performing women composers.

VOW is funded through the ERASMUS+ programme during the period January, 2022 until December, 2024. The VOW partner institutions are The University of Stavanger, Hochschule für Musik Franz Lizst Weimar, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø.

I am very grateful for the excellent collaboration and dedication the whole consortium has shown during the project, and to all students, participants, educators, artists, researchers and administrative staff, in Europe and beyond, who have been and will be active in VOW.
