Welcome to a beginner workshop that opens the door to autoethnographic academic writing.
Designed for those new to the genre, we will explore how blending personal stories with academic inquiry can bring fresh insights to both theory and professional practice.
Through clear explanations and interactive activities, we will discover the basics of creating autoethnographic work and discuss criteria to assess its quality.
The workshop is offered in collaboration with the DEMCI research group and The Childism Institute UiS and is open to students, early-career researcher, or anyone seeking to update their knowledge of qualitative research methods.

About Tanu:
Tanu Biswas is a childist philosopher who addresses intergenerational relationships within the intersecting areas of education, pedagogy, climate justice, decoloniality and qualitative methodology. Her work engages life experience as method of theorising.
She works as associate professor in pedagogy at the University of Stavanger, Norway, where she contributes to the Master in Teacher Education, Special Needs Education, Erasmus Master in Migration Studies and International Relations, and micromodules in the European Consortium of Innovative Universities. She is co-director of transnational research programme The Childism Institute.
