About me
Nathalie Bergame is a postdoc at Chalmers University of Technology.
Her academic background is grounded in sociology, urban studies, and cultural geography (PhD at the Royal Institute of Technology and Lund University) as well as environmental technologies and energy system studies (University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland and Lund University). She have written on the role of contradictions as an analytical lens and dialectical theory on emancipatory social change through commoning practices. Her research is informed by critical theory and shapred by feminist and creative methods such as poetic inquiry and collective biographies.
Her research interests lie in the critical study of processes of social change and in the Energy Lives! project Bergame’s research focuses on how which energy infrastructures are embodied in everyday life, specifically within the area of social reproductive practices.
