About me
My name is Hong Li (李竑), and I am often addressed by the shortened version—Holi.
Currently, I serve as a tenured Associate Professor in Service Innovation and Digitalization in the Department of Leadership and Service Innovation at the University of Stavanger.
I hold a doctorate with distinction in Human-Computer Interaction, with a focus on exploring and enhancing the ways people interact with technology. Throughout my academic career, I have developed a multicultural and interdisciplinary background through experiences in China, Japan, Britain, Finland, and Norway. My primary research explores the (re)design of intensive technologies to foster positive human experiences. My major research project involvement includes:

- TechFashion — Design of Future Wearable Computing — funded by the Academy of Finland.
- BetterByDesign — Design Thinking for the Scottish Third Sector — funded by the Big Lottery Fund Scotland.
