The library is open to staff, students, and anyone interested in our fields of study. Our specialist areas are archaeology, conservation, museology, botany, art history, medieval history, and the history of Stavanger and Rogaland.

Opening hours and contact
Staffed hours:
Monday – Friday: 9 am – 3 pm. The museum opens at 11. Call 51 83 26 10 if you want to visit the library before this, and we will open the door for you.
Students and staff with UiS-id:
Tuesday: 15 – 20 Saturday: 11 – 15 Sunday: 11 – 16 For museum staff, the library is open every day from 6:15 am to 10 pm.
