About the position

As a Project Engineer Graduate you will be part of an inclusive and enthusiastic team that is responsible for delivering our projects in Aker BP. As a graduate in the Project

Business Unit we aim to expose our graduates to different roles/teams during the 2 year graduate period. It is a role with many different tasks and flexible opportunities. A Project Engineer in Aker BP is not working as a specific discipline engineer, but more working with Project Management handling for example multidiscipline queries and changes.

Requirements to the applicant

Typical work tasks can be:

  • Part of project team e.g subsea, topside or modification project
  • Supporting project manager with multidiscipline topics
  • Preparing documentation for decision of projects
  • Contributing to technical reviews and other project reviews
  • Responsible for lessons learned and improvements in the project

Qualifications:

  • You have recently graduated or will graduate in 2025 with an BSc/MSc within a technical field; i.e Process, Electrical, Automation, Subsea, Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Energy/environment, Marine and Offshore Technology, Industrial Economics.
  • You have maximum two years of relevant professional experience.
  • English and/or Norwegian language working proficiency.

Aker BP is a company engaged in exploration, field development and production of oil and gas on the Norwegian continental shelf. The company operates six field centres: Alvheim, Ivar Aasen, Skarv, Edvard Grieg, Ula and Valhall, and is a partner in the Johan Sverdrup field.
