Graduate 2025 - Metering Engineer

As a graduate metering engineer, you will join an inclusive and enthusiastic team that handles fiscal metering on all Aker BP operated assets. Fiscal metering is the metering equipment used to measure oil and gas for sales and taxes.  

Some examples of fiscal flow measurement applications are: Gas export metering, Flare gas metering, Oil export metering and more. The metering systems include equipment such as flow meters, temperature and pressure measurement, online analyzers, automatic sampling, multiphase flow meters and control systems. The team has a key role in design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of the fiscal metering systems.

Typical work tasks can be:  

• Be responsible for quality and follow-up of fiscal metering on one of our operated assets. 
• Be involved in projects aimed at improving the operation of our metering systems. 
• Be involved in projects for new metering systems, including testing of new technology. 

Qualifications:   

• You have recently graduated or will graduate in 2025 with an MSc within digitalization, cybernetics, instrumentation, physics, mathematics or similar. 
• You have maximum two years of relevant professional experience 
• Norwegian language working proficiency
